Luigi and his older brother, Alessandro, co-founders of Castelli Marble Inc., were born in Cassino, Italy, an area with a long and proud tradition of working with Perlato Royal, a stone first used by the Romans to build temples at Minturnae, circa 296 B.C. As teenagers, Luigi and Alessandro, labored alongside the master cutters in their father’s quarry where they learned to identify the texture of the finest marbles, as well as respect the inherent beauty of the stone. The Castelli’s brought their years of experience, knowledge, and love of stone to America where they founded Castelli Marble, Inc. in 1986, three decades ago. In 1999, to further meet clients requests and a desire to ensure precise production practices and after already five years of experience in the Mexican stone industry, Castelli Marble built a fully owned, state of the art production facility. Located in Ciudad Lerdo, Dgo, México, an area known as the Carrara of Mexico for the numerous quarries of stone including Rosa Salmon, Rosa Morado, Dutchess White, Blanco Guadiana, Durango, Peach, Chocolat, and Red Travertine. Castelli Marble of Mexico since its founding has grown into a multi faceted company, which has been able to better serve the needs of clients and maintain production demands.

      With a family history in the Italian marble trade, today's Castelli, Inc. is the only company of it’s kind with a directly owned and operated production facility employing over 150 persons. Employees work tirelessly in selecting materials from quarries around the world and custom manufacturing of the most elegant marble products to everyday homeowners as well as highly-regarded architects, designers, builders and clients. Known among architects and designers for their beauty and excellence of workmanship, Castelli’s stone can be found in some of the most prestigious commercial buildings and private residences in North America.

     Since the company’s inception Luigi and Alessandro, as president and vice president, respectively, have grown their company into one of the country’s most successful purveyors of quality marble and stone products from all over the world.
