Luigi and his older brother, Alessandro, are the proud co-founders of Castelli Marble Inc. Born in Cassino, Italy, an area renowned for its tradition of working with Perlato Royal, the brothers grew up surrounded by the heritage of stone craftsmanship. Perlato Royal was first used by the Romans to build temples at Minturnae circa 296 B.C.As teenagers, Luigi and Alessandro honed their skills alongside master cutters in their father’s quarry, learning to appreciate the texture and inherent beauty of the finest marbles. In 1986, they brought their extensive experience and passion for stone to America, founding Castelli Marble Inc. in 1986.
Expansion to Mexico
To meet growing client demands and ensure precise production practices, Castelli Marble Inc. expanded to Mexico in 1999. With five years of experience in the Mexican stone industry, they built a state-of-the-art production facility in Ciudad Lerdo, Dgo, México. This area, known as the Carrara of Mexico, boasts numerous quarries producing stones such as Rosa Salmon, Rosa Morado, Dutchess White, Blanco Guadiana, Durango, Peach, Chocolat, and Red Travertine. Castelli Marble of Mexico has since evolved into a multifaceted company, better serving client needs and maintaining high production standards.
