Please read the following terms carefully before completing your purchase. By proceeding to checkout, you agree to all conditions below.
01 — Product
All products sold by Castelli Marble Inc. are natural stone. Variation in color, veining, movement, texture, and finish is inherent and expected.
Images and samples are provided for general reference only and may not represent the exact material received. Variation between samples, within an order, and across production lots is expected.
Natural stone will patina and change over time. Proper installation, sealing, and maintenance are the sole responsibility of the customer. All material must be inspected prior to installation. Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product. By purchasing, the customer acknowledges and accepts the inherent characteristics of natural stone. Castelli Marble Inc. makes no guarantees regarding performance or suitability once material has left our possession. For more information please review Installation Guidelines.
02 — All Sales Are Final
Castelli Marble Inc. does not accept returns on any products, opened or unopened. All sales are final once payment is received. Orders may be canceled or modified within six (6) hours of placement only. After this window, inventory is allocated and orders cannot be changed or canceled. Special Orders / Made to order— including custom sizes, finishes, or items not held in standard inventory — are non-cancelable and non-refundable at any time, as production may begin immediately upon order confirmation. Refused shipments or failure to accept delivery will be treated as a return and are subject to all applicable freight, storage, and redelivery fees. These charges must be paid in full before goods are released or redelivery is scheduled. Any payment disputes or charge backs filed in violation of these terms will be disputed and may be referred to collections. In the event that Castelli Marble Inc. is unable to fulfill an order, a full refund of the amount paid will be issued.
03 — Payments & Taxes
Payment of 100% of the order total is required at the time of placement. Orders will not be processed, fulfilled, or released until payment has been received and cleared. All payments are processed online. If you experience difficulty completing checkout, contact cs@castellimarble.com to request a custom invoice. Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on the shipping destination and applicable regulations. Shipping charges apply to all orders unless warehouse pickup has been arranged in advance. Customers are responsible for providing accurate billing and shipping information. Any changes to an order — including shipping dates, addresses, or delivery methods — may result in additional charges, which must be paid prior to fulfillment. Castelli Marble Inc. reserves the right to correct errors in pricing, product, or inventory and to cancel any affected order. A full refund of the amount paid will be issued in such cases.
04 — Ordering & Lead Times
Orders ship complete once all items are in stock at our warehouse. Orders containing multiple lead times will not ship until all items are available. Partial shipments are not standard and, if requested, may incur additional charges.
In-stock items typically ship within 2–3 business days. Custom and Special Order lead times vary and are estimates only, reflecting expected arrival to our warehouse. Additional time is required for processing and outbound shipment after receipt. All lead times are subject to manufacturer schedules, production constraints, customs inspection, and port conditions.
Lead times are not guaranteed. Delays do not constitute grounds for cancellation, refund, or charge back.
We strongly recommend ordering 15–25% more material than your measured area requires.
Ordering insufficient material is one of the most common and costly mistakes in tile projects. Customers are solely responsible for verifying measurements and ordering sufficient quantities. Castelli Marble Inc. cannot guarantee availability or matching material for future add-on orders. Due to the nature of natural stone, material from subsequent orders may vary in color, veining, and finish from the original lot.
05 — Shipping & Delivery
All U.S. and Canadian orders ship via LTL freight on pallets. Delivery is curbside only. The carrier will contact you directly to schedule a delivery appointment. Castelli Marble Inc. is not responsible for carrier scheduling delays. Each tile box weighs 35–70 lbs — the customer is responsible for ensuring sufficient personnel and equipment are on-site to receive, inspect, and move the shipment at the time of delivery. A signature is required.
Title and risk of loss transfer to the customer upon delivery.
During delivery, all items must be inspected against the packing slip. Any damages or shortages must be noted on the delivery receipt in the presence of the driver and photographed before the driver departs. Castelli Marble Inc. must be notified of any delivery issue within 48 hours of receipt at cs@castellimarble.com. Claims submitted without a notated delivery receipt and photographic documentation will not be accepted. No claims, replacements, or refunds will be processed after the 48-hour window.
Missed deliveries, refused shipments, or delivery access issues — including incorrect address, site access limitations, or inability to unload — will result in storage, redelivery, and additional carrier fees billed to the customer. These charges must be paid in full prior to rescheduling.
Industry standards allow for up to 5% breakage during transit. Any damaged pieces may still be suitable for cuts. - Please review thoroughly HOW ORDERS SHIP
06 — Installation, Care & Maintenance
Installation of the product constitutes full acceptance of the material as delivered, including its grade, color, variation, finish, and suitability for the intended application. Any concerns must be addressed prior to installation. No claims will be accepted once installation has begun.
Material should be dry-laid and blended prior to installation to ensure an acceptable distribution of color, veining, and variation. We strongly recommend working with an experienced installer familiar with natural stone. The customer is responsible for ensuring all material is properly sealed prior to grouting and again upon completion of installation. Failure to properly seal the material may result in staining, damage, or deterioration and will void any related claims.
Natural stone requires ongoing care and maintenance. Only pH-neutral cleaners should be used — acid-based or abrasive products will permanently damage the surface. Customers are responsible for reviewing all care and maintenance guidelines prior to purchase and installation. Castelli Marble Inc. is not responsible for improper installation, inadequate maintenance, or any issues arising after delivery and acceptance of the product. 07 — Liability
Castelli Marble Inc.'s total liability related to any order shall not exceed the purchase price paid for the products in that order. Castelli Marble Inc. shall not be liable for any loss of use, delay, project costs, installation labor, business interruption, loss of profits, goodwill, revenue, or any consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages of any kind arising from the purchase, delivery, or use of our products.
All products are sold as-is. Except as described in our Limited Warranty, Castelli Marble Inc. makes no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In the event of a dispute, the customer agrees to contact Castelli Marble Inc. in writing at CS@castellimarble.com prior to initiating any legal action. These Terms of Sale shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict of law principles.
