We use third-party freight companies for delivery and are subject to their terms and conditions. Castelli Marble is not responsible for delays, damage, or issues once the shipment is in transit. Claims must follow our delivery inspection protocol. - Curbside Delivery
All deliveries are curbside only. Delivery personnel will not move material indoors or assist with unpacking. - Receiving & Inspection
It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect the shipment upon arrival. Any damage to the pallet / crate must be noted on the BOL. Any issues / concealed damaged must be reported within 48 hours with photos and documentation.

How orders ship
Delivery:
- Castelli Marble ships all orders through third party carriers and is subject to their terms and conditions.
- Once your order has shipped, our logistics partner will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment. It is critical that you confirm your delivery window within 24 hours of being contacted. Delays in scheduling may result in storage fees and/or return shipping and re-delivery charges, which will be the customer’s responsibility.
- If you need to change the delivery address after your order has shipped, reconsignment and rerouting fees start at $250. These charges are set by the third-party shipping carrier and must be paid directly before changes can be approved.
- There must be someone on-site to receive and sign for your shipment. Deliveries are curbside only and arrive on a pallet via lift gate. Delivery personnel do not assist with unpacking, moving materials inside, or breaking down pallets.
- If someone else (e.g., contractor, installer, family member) will be receiving the order on your behalf, it is your responsibility to inform them of these delivery requirements. Castelli Marble is not liable for any claims resulting from failure to follow these instructions.
- Any damage must be noted on the delivery receipt and proper documentation is required (copy of delivery receipt, photos, written statement of damage, etc). By signing the delivery receipt you are accepting the shipment as in and no claim is valid afterwards. If damage was not noted at the time of delivery, you have 48 hours to report it to cs@castellimarble.com
- Note: Industry standards allow for 2–4% breakage during transit. Because natural stone is hand-selected and packed, minor imperfections are common. We strongly recommend ordering at least 20% extra material to account for waste, breakage, and cuts needed during installation.
